Merry Christmas!

I love Christmas! Do you still get excited on Christmas eve? I do. And I still believe in Santa, although he is different now that I'm older and a mom. Click here to track Santa's journey around the world and to email Santa. Really fun!


I think Christmas is really fun with my kids. I love how excited they are about the Christmas lights around the house (We'll do better about that next year...). And I love how they have such a great time playing with the gifts under the tree. Not ever thinking of opening the gifts, just bringing them to me or Doug one by one asking, "Who is this for?" and "Who is this from?"


I love all the treats this time of year. Daddy makes his yummy caramel candies. I usually make chocolate covered cherries. (Not this year, though... :( Not enough time.) I love gingerbread and sugar cookies. Calories don't count in December, right?


I love living in Texas at Christmastime. I can remember many Christmases -- wearing shorts and feeling perfectly comfortable. I think a White Christmas would be fun and beautiful... but just too cold for me.
