New Car

We bought a new car last week. I haven't taken pictures yet, but I plan to do that in the morning. Since I'm working for Carmax, we got a nice deal on a 2004 Dodge Intrepid. And, since Doug recently got his bonus, we still don't have a car payment. Anyway, it's nice to have a car that we all fit in. We all can sit in Doug's civic, but it's not as comfy as this new car.

Thanks, Mom for letting us borrow your car for the last 3 weeks. I don't know how we would have made it without your help!

Yesterday, as we got in the car to come home from church, the check engine light came on. We just looked at each other, and started to brace for the next stage of the storm that we've been battling. We decided yesterday evening that Doug should take it to get it checked out at an auto parts place to find out what was wrong. Well, he went to the store, they put the computer thing on the car to read the codes. (Did you know that they do it for free?) And $14 later, the problem was fixed. The gas cap was bad, so he bought a new gas cap and the problem was solved. I love it when something I thought would be complicated ends up easy. :)
