Husband Tag

1. Where did you meet?

We were at a sand volleyball game on Fort Sam (I think). It was a big get together with a bunch of singles ward people. I remember the sand volleyball, but I don't really remember meeting Doug. He remembers meeting me though...

2. How long did you date before you got married?

Our first date was October 26, 2001. We were engaged on December 14, 2001, and we were married on May 17, 2002.

3. How long have you been married?

about 6.5 years

4. What does he do that surprises you?

He breaks into song randomly. Usually Christmas carols or something from an old musical like Oklahoma! or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

5. What is you favorite feature of his?

I love his eyes and I'm jealous of his eyelashes. Also, I love it that he is tall. :)

7. Does he have a nickname for you?

Not really, just honey or sweetheart...

8. What's his favorite color?

Blue

9. What's his favorite food?

Anything I make. :) I love that.

10. What is his favorite sport?

Football. But basketball is a close second.

11. When and where was your first kiss?

We had gone out to dinner (a very garlicky dinner as I recall...). It was after dinner when he dropped me off at my apartment.

12. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?

As long as we can spend some time together, we are happy. We love to camp and hike or shop or roadtrip or sit on the porch and talk or cook something on the grill.

13. Do you have any children?

Two boys: Timmy is five and Tanner is two.

14. Does he have a hidden talent?

He can juggle. He can whistle (a lot better than me!) And he sings well too.

I honestly don't know.

17. What is his favorite type of music?

He likes a variety. Some alternative, some rock, some classic rock, some oldies, some country...

18. What do you admire the most about him?

He has a great deal more patience than I have. He is hilarious, and he is wonderful with the kids.
