Fingers & Teeth

I'm not sure if Tanner is getting new teeth. But he really enjoys putting his hand in his mouth. Not just a thumb or a finger, but his whole hand. My friend/former roommate Julie could stick her entire fist in her mouth. I wish I still had the picture to prove it... :)

Some info on the last few posts:

• Tanner's injury came from playing on his bed. The boys have bunk beds in their room. He was standing on the rail of the lower bunk, trying to hang (much like a monkey) from the rail of the top bunk. He lost his grip and fell on a toy that was on the floor... He had a pretty deep cut on his scalp and had to have 2 stitches. He cried quite a bit (to be expected) at Texas MedClinic, but the next day when we asked him to show his owwie, he would show his finger... obviously it's not bothering him much anymore. The stitches come out Sunday.
• Timmy is having a good time with soccer (aka "magnet ball"). He doesn't really do much besides run around. I think the only time he has kicked the ball in a game is when they are inbounding it. He's just not very aggressive. He doesn't want to be in the middle of the crowd of kids. He's having fun, and at this age, that's all that matters, right? right??
• Tanner LOVES to go to Timmy's soccer practices and games. He would be perfectly happy to take Timmy's place on the field. So, we keep him distracted as best we can. Last week, he got to sit with Doug. He loves looking at his reflection in Doug's sunglasses and bumping hats... Tomorrow is another fun day at the soccer field!
