It's been awhile since I took the time to be thankful. Since I'm in the library thinking about paper topics and tests, I might as well take a quick break to think about the not-so-stressful things in my life right now.
- Mom. I talk to my mom at least once a day. I love her, and I always feel at least a little better after we talk.
- School. It feels good to be in a classroom. As a kid, I thought it would be fun to be a professional student. Maybe I just wanted to get paid for doing homework, but really I just love to learn new things.
- My computer. I love this little thing. It weighs less than 2 pounds. It is awesome. I'd be lost without it. Mostly because I'm a horrible note-taker. Typing notes is way easier than writing notes. I'm not quite sure why that is...
- My kiddos. They have adapted fairly well to my new schedule. And they are adorable.
- Quiet libraries. I was in the library during lunch today, and there was a really loud group in one of the study rooms. Wow. They were so loud and vulgar... It was awful. I love the library when it is quiet.
- Starbucks. I've done some studying there. Free wi-fi. Hot chocolate or a steamer... soothing music. I can get so much done there.
Ok. I'm getting back to work now. :)

Is Brindles still in business? I used to go there for quiet when I would have to write a press release for work. Not the best place calorie-wise, but it was so soothing to be there. :) OH, I MISS TEXAS!!!
