So, I'm thinking about making this blog private.
What are the pros and cons? (I mean other than keeping creepy strangers away...)
Please share your thoughts. :) I'll let you all know what I decide.

con: it says you're only allowed 100 invites. For me it only allowed 90. But really not all of those people continue to read my blog so I weed em out.
Pro: protection not only from stalkers but also protecting the pictures you post to not be used by any old wierdo on the internet.
I read blogs through Google Reader. Private blogs do not have RSS/Atom feeds so they cannot be read through Google Reader or any other feed reader.
My brother's blog is private and he has to send out an email every time he updates the blog so we can manually go over there and see it. It is very annoying but he has good reasons for doing it.
If your blog is going to be a semi-private journal or something then make it private. Otherwise, be careful what you post and leave it public.
