Trick or Treat!

On Saturday we went to a trunk or treat party at church. Tanner didn't quite understand. He just wanted to run around. He had no desire to stop at each car to collect candy. We were about halfway through the parking lot when Timmy tripped and fell. He had his candy in one hand and he was holding Tanner's had with the other hand, so when he fell, he didn't have a free hand to catch himself. He went face first into the pavement. A nice lady took Tanner back to Doug, who was passing out candy at our car. I took Timmy inside to clean him up. He swelled up instantly and it bled a lot. That part wasn't any fun. Thankfully, it wasn't broken and the swelling went down within a few days.

We had a good time trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We now have way too much candy in our house. :) Tanner runs really fast, and I really didn't want to chase him all night, and we didn't need any more injuries, so I had to put Tanner in the stroller. He didn't mind much. He learned to say "trick or treat" just in time, too. He's so cute. :) Timmy had a good time saying some of Woody's lines from Toy Story: "There's a snake in my boots!" and "Somebody poisoned the waterhole!" It was a really fun Halloween!
