week in review

Timmy has finished his soccer season. His team had a party at Chuck E Cheese to celebrate. He and Tanner had a great time playing there. We might put him in soccer again in the spring. But we also might do t-ball. I don't know yet, and I refuse to put much thought into that decision until after Thanksgiving is over.

This Thursday, I took the boys to playgroup. They had a great time playing at the park. So much fun, in fact, that they were both asleep when we got home. I love the quiet when the boys fall asleep in the car.

I wasn't too thrilled, though, when I got Tanner out and discovered that his diaper had leaked poop onto his car seat. Poor kid. He's had some diaper issues this week, and he's had the diaper rash to prove it. After I got the mess cleaned up, he refused to let me put clothes on him -- not even a diaper. I was a little nervous about letting him run around naked. He's had some seriously messy diaper problems! But I was also really tired of fighting with him to get clothes on, and being naked would help his diaper rash heal. So.... he was naked for several hours, and he was loving it. He kept saying, "Mommy, I a nay kid!"

That was last week. What's in store for this week? Well, Thanksgiving, of course. For me that means, baking pies, making mashed potatoes, and doing fun crafts with the kids. :) Happy Thanksgiving!!
