We had such a good time! It was amazing how well the kids got along during the party. I had some games planned to play, but the kids were playing so well, that we just let them play. Why mess up a good thing for a silly game??
I have a cake pan that has molds for train-shaped cakes, so I made these adorable trains, and the kids decorated their own train birthday cakes. We had some interesting creations!
Here’s Annie with her train,
and here’s Timmy with his,
and here’s Ian putting the final touches on his masterpiece.
Annabelle’s train wins the award for he most licorice on top of the train. :) Yes, there is a train underneath all that red and black licorice, and no she didn’t eat it. :)
Katy just wanted to eat Smarties and leave her train unadorned.
We sang Happy Birthday. Tanner actually started the singing… so cute!
Time to open presents! I wonder what this present could be?
Timmy: It’s a telescope!
Tanner: Wook! It’s a scarescope! (Translation: “Look! It’s a telescope!”)
Everyone got a super cute train conductor’s hat. Isn’t he an adorable THREE year old??
