Our car is officially old. It just turned One Hundred Thousand Miles. It has been a good car for us. We bought it in August of 2002. We had been married for about 3 months, and my 98 Chevy Malibu was having lots of problems. (It was well over 100,000 miles too...) Anyway, we bought our current car, a 99 Ford Contour, from Carmax. It had only 8,000 miles on it when we bought it. We haven't really had any major problems with it. The check engine light is on now, but it's nothing major. I got it checked out at AutoZone, and I just need to get the spark plugs and wires changed out. Anyway, it has been a good car for us. Hopefully, it will continue to run well -- at least until we can afford to replace it. Doug has been shopping for a new car for quite a while, but we haven't had a car payment for almost a year, so it's just not in the budget. Sorry honey! :)

Yeah, I think guys never STOP shopping (or looking) for cars- lol. But I'm the same way with houses. :) That's cool that you caught the car right as it changed over. Have a great day!
